Crane scales from 250 lbs. capacity up to 100,000 lbs. for use in the heat and harsh environment of a steel foundry or the cold and wet application of commercial fishermen in the ocean. Crane scales come in a variety of configurations, shapes and sizes. From the basic eye at the top with a hook on the bottom as pictured to a utility link with a shackle at the top and another shackle at the bottom. Unitized configuration means that the display is on the crane scale itself. Some units offer a hand held remote display as an option, especially helpful if the crane scale is up in the air too far to easily read the display, or if the scale is too close to the heat of a foundry. Some units offer both the unitized and the hand held remote. Controls Controls on the unitized scales are on the scale usually below the display. Some of the remote hand held displays offer controls for on/off, zero/tare on the remote also as an option
